The Universe - Yours to Discover

To mark the International Year of Astronomy the Estonian Science Center AHHAA will organize a public astronomical observation for competitors and local people at May 2, 21.00 pm near the Saverna School.

400 years ago Galileo Galilei pointed a small self-made telescope to celestial objects. From this event our knowledge about the Universe has substantially changed.

We use two telescopes, 200 times magnification. At begining we observe the crescent Moon; approximately from 10 o'clock Saturn. Everyone can see that there are mountains on the Moon and that Saturn has a ring.

NB Observation take place only at bright weather.

Clear skies to us!
